Very good combinations that demonstrate very good properties as a tool can be created from grinding fleece lamellae and abrasive cloth. A defined number of grinding fleece lamellae are linked together with grinding cloth lamellae and are then joined radially around the axis of a carrier (waterproof cardboard tube) or with resin in which a shaft is embedded.
By combining the grinding fleece lamellae and the abrasive cloth, you obtain a tool with a higher proportion of abrasive grains which produces a higher level of aggressiveness, thereby improving the abrasive performance.
The properties of these tools can be altered via the grains that are used, the number of lamellae and the impregnation.
